Langport the levels and my Studio

As I have still not got back into my studio from hibernation and am not yet up to par; I thought I would share with you my love of Langport the levels and my studio.  Langport is the heart of The Somerset Levels and where I have my studio.

When I moved to Somerset from Surrey in 2004 my first impressions of Langport was not that favourable; so I tended to avoid it.  However over time it has grown on me and I now find it hard to believe I never liked it.

Somerset folk in general are very friendly and kind people and Langports inhabitants are certainly no exception.  Claim to fame – the Dragon Deborah Meaden lives locally.  Somerset is a very warm and special place to live and Langport represents a great deal of what it is that make Somerset such a lovely place to be.
