Update since SAW – to bring you up to date
Since SAW 2016 and moving into my new space, I have had several sales off of the back of SAW from my ‘Exmoor and More!’ series. This series of work has been exceptionally well received.
I also made several sales from my Black Friday Sale of pre 2016 works. So that’s all to the good and will certainly help with my much increased studio rent; and take the pressure off.
I would like to say a Big Thank You to all who visited me over the SAW weeks and since, with a very special thank you to those of you that supported and or engaged with my work and me
My new studio is at the end of a corridor on the first floor above the gallery at Shakspeare Glass a bit tucked away so I am seeing less faces. Please if you can pop in and say hello, have a chat, see my new space and work I would love to see you. I am here Wednesday to Saturday and I always welcome a visit from those interested in art.
To put you in the picture
I am happy to tell you that the work I had in The RWA Open was sold; I just need to send a thank you and a Certificate of Authenticity to the buyer.
I am also very proud that my piece ‘be there’ was selected for Artfinders The Edit one of 105 out of 8000 artist
News Update on what I have been doing
I have been pondering where to now! My 2016 works on Exmoor have been a bit of a breakthrough; so to help clarify my thoughts on where it came from and hopefully where it is going I have been writing an essay. At the moment entitled ‘connections’ I am unsure at the minute weather I will put this onto the blog or try to have it self-printed; catalogue style for distribution from my studio and site. It will need to be relatively inexpensive. So before I finish it I need to research this option.
I would be interested to know your thoughts on this and if you know a suitable way forward. Especially if you have any recommendations to getting it self-printed
In the new year I will be writing up on my work in 2016 but in the mean time
